The eight-wheel AEC was known as the Mammoth Major and this proved a popular lorry with showmen. The Mark V was the last traditional AEC prior to the creation of British Leyland and introduction of the Ergomatic cab across the Leyland, AEC and Albion ranges. CTN 767B began its fairground life with Northern Section showman Luke Jobson's Dodgems, but is now used with the Skid ride, the Hiab crane being fitted to assist with lifting of the heavy platforms. The model is an EFE chassis-cab with Corgi bodywork and a Hiab from an unknown source.
